Cerebrolysin is a protein-based agent that contains small-molecule biologically active neuropeptides. Neuropeptides penetrate through the blood-brain barrier and act directly on nervous cells.
Cerebrolysin possesses the unique organo-specific multimodal action on the brain manifested in metabolic regulation, functional neuromodulation, neuroprotective action, neurotrophic activity.
Cerebrolysin has been studied in thousands of patients in double-blind studies with consistently excellent results.
Cerebrolysin is used to treat the following conditions:
Organic, metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders of the brain, especially senile dementia of type
Post operative trauma
Chromic cerebrovascular pathology
Disorders associated with attention deficiency in children
